Half Step is a Boston-area hardcore punk band formed in 1991 that toured the East Coast steadily before going on hiatus in 2002. They reformed in recent years, bringing their aggressive, raw punk sound back to venues in the Greater Boston region. Their catalog sits squarely in the straight-edge and hardcore traditions of the early-'90s East Coast scene.
