Hail the Sun is a post-hardcore band from Chico, California, formed in 2009. Fronted by drummer-vocalist Donovan Melero, they pair technical, math-rock-inflected guitar work with soaring, emotive vocals and bursts of screamo intensity. They're regarded as a cornerstone of the modern 'swancore' and progressive post-hardcore scene.
