Grooversity

Grooversity is a Boston-based Afro-Brazilian drumming and performance collective founded by Berklee-trained percussionist Marcus Santos. Rooted in the rhythms and dance traditions of Brazil, the group leads workshops and performances at universities, schools, and community events across the region, including MIT and Harvard. Their energetic shows blend traditional samba and percussion with educational outreach, making the sounds of Brazil viscerally accessible to new audiences.
