Gin Blossoms are a power pop band from Tempe, Arizona who became one of the defining alternative acts of the early 1990s. Their major-label debut New Miserable Experience (1992) produced alt-rock staples including 'Hey Jealousy,' 'Found Out About You,' and 'Allison Road,' all written primarily by Doug Hopkins before his tragic death in 1993. The band has continued to tour and record, with their melodic jangle-pop sound aging exceptionally well.
