Ghost Painted Sky is a Massachusetts-based gothic rock and darkwave duo formed in 2014, led by vocalists David and Lisa. Drawing from the foundational sounds of trad goth, post-punk, and darkwave of the 1980s and 90s — with frequent live collaborator and violinist/keyboardist Aurora rounding out their live lineup — the band creates dark, introspective music that treats sound as a vehicle for catharsis and emotional processing. They have released work including the 'Flightless' album (2018) and the 'Barren Ground' EP, available on Bandcamp.
