Fugu Dugu play what they call Wild East punk: Balkan and Slavic folk melodies crashed into Americana, carried by wild violins and pounding rhythms. Live it is closer to theater than a rock set, full of dancing, shouting and Slavic folklore turned loose. The Chicago band has toured the country coast to coast and worked with The Klezmatics.
