Nova Jimenez is an emerging singer-songwriter of Venezuelan and Spanish heritage, raised in Miami and currently studying contemporary writing and production with a minor in Latin music. Her sound blends the jazz phrasing of vocalists like Samara Joy and Ella Fitzgerald with the Latin folk and salsa lineage of Rita Payés and Willie Colón. She has previously performed at Carnegie Hall as part of the University of North Carolina Choir.
