Elliott was an influential emo and post-hardcore band from Louisville, Kentucky, formed in 1995 by guitarist Jay Palumbo alongside Chris Higdon (vocals/guitar, formerly of Falling Forward) and bassist Jonathan Mobley. Moving well beyond their hardcore roots, they helped shape the melodic, atmospheric second wave of emo across albums like U.S. Songs and False Cathedrals.
