Don Was is a Grammy-winning bassist and producer who co-founded the Detroit funk group Was (Not Was). He has produced albums for the Rolling Stones, Bonnie Raitt and Bob Dylan, among others. The Pan-Detroit Ensemble is his touring band, playing music rooted in Detroit's soul, funk and jazz heritage.
