Divergent Trio’s next Boston-area show is March 24, 2027 at Longy School of Music.
Divergent Trio is the faculty ensemble of the Longy School of Music and the trio-in-residence at Divergent Studio, pairing soprano Corrine Byrne, violist Ralph Farris and pianist Donald Berman. The unusual voice-viola-piano combination has made the group a magnet for new work, including premieres written for them by composers such as Alexandra du Bois. They perform at Longy's Pickman Hall alongside emerging composers from the Divergent Studio sessions.
