Pioneering pop-punk band Descendents helped define the genre in the early 1980s with their blend of melodic hooks, breakneck tempos, and nerdy, heartfelt lyrics about coffee, food, and romantic frustration. Their influence on punk and pop-punk is immeasurable, with albums like Milo Goes to College remaining essential listening decades later.
