Dawn of Ouroboros is a progressive black metal project from Oakland, California, blending atmospheric black metal, melodic death metal, and post-black metal into dense, layered soundscapes. Founded and led by guitarist Tony Thomas (also of Botanist), the band has built a following in the extreme metal underground with their intoxicating European black metal influence filtered through a distinctly American progressive sensibility.
