Darryl Yokley is a New York-based tenor and alto saxophonist, composer, and educator who emerged on the jazz scene in 2009. He leads the quartet Sound Reformation — featuring Zaccai Curtis on piano, Luques Curtis on bass, and Wayne Smith Jr. on drums — and has been praised by The New York Times and Downbeat Magazine for his composing and arranging on albums including Pictures at an African Exhibition.
