Cousin Oven is the indie rock project of Owen Bologna, a guitarist, singer, and multi-instrumentalist originally from Connecticut and now based in Brooklyn. Drawing on his background as a classical trumpet player and jazz guitarist, Bologna crafts intimate, concept-driven alternative rock influenced by Big Thief, Slaughter Beach, Dog, and similar acts in the thoughtful indie-folk orbit. The project has evolved from a solo vehicle into a fully collaborative band.
