Clayton Stephenson is an American pianist known for his joyous charisma, expressive power, and natural ease at the instrument. A graduate of the Harvard-NEC dual degree program, he made history as the first Black finalist at the Van Cliburn International Piano Competition in 2022. A 2024 Avery Fisher Career Grant recipient and winner of the inaugural Nina Simone Piano Competition, he has performed with leading orchestras and at venues including the Kennedy Center and Carnegie Hall.
