chrysalis is the solo project of Indigo Ansin, a Boston-based trans/nonbinary singer-songwriter and guitarist studying at Berklee College of Music. Their music blends indie folk and pop with occasional rock and soul, influenced by Joni Mitchell, Adrianne Lenker, and Field Medic. Since releasing their debut album 'i'm on my way' in October 2023, chrysalis has opened for VÉRITÉ at Brighton Music Hall and performed on the Orange Stage at Boston Calling.
