Chanel Beads is a New York-based electronic project led by Shane Lavers, whose music blends lo-fi digital collage, ambient pop, and experimental songwriting with collaborators including singer Maya McGrory and violinist Zachary Paul. The project's breakthrough came in late 2023 with the single 'Ef' and signing to Jagjaguwar, and their sound has been compared to Dean Blunt and Bar Italia — abstract, shoegaze-adjacent, and rooted in the fragmented textures of contemporary life.
