caroline (stylized in lowercase) is a London-formed post-rock and chamber folk ensemble founded in 2017. The eight-piece band blends ambient textures, Midwest emo, and folk rock into a uniquely understated sound. Their self-titled 2022 debut and follow-up caroline 2 (2025, Rough Trade Records) both received widespread critical acclaim, with Pitchfork awarding the latter Best New Music.
