Buskin & Batteau

Buskin and Batteau are the veteran folk duo of David Buskin and Robin Batteau, two singer-songwriters who have been harmonizing together since the late 1970s. Buskin brings piano and wry, literate songwriting; Batteau brings a violin, a high tenor, and a catalog of songs other people have recorded over the decades. They are also two thirds of the comic trio Modern Man, which explains why their shows swing between genuinely moving ballads and dead-serious silliness.
