The Boston Philharmonic Youth Orchestra is the tuition-free youth orchestra founded in 2012 by conductor Benjamin Zander, drawing players aged 12 to 21. Alongside its annual Boston series it has toured internationally and released commercial recordings; the 2026-27 season is its last before the Boston Philharmonic organizations wind down into the newly formed Zander Center.
