Bad Bloom started in Brooklyn in 2019 around bassist-vocalist Kate Rogers and guitarist Jay Trovato, then moved to Rochester when the pandemic shut everything down. They describe themselves as a pop band at the core with shoegaze and goth built around it - hooks first, then the noise.
