Back Porch Carousel is a Boston-based collective of revolving songwriters who take turns performing in-the-round, with guitars instead of calliopes. Founded by Randy Black of the post-punk band Limbo Race, the group grew out of pandemic-era Zoom sessions into a recurring live-streamed series, with 90-minute shows structured as fundraisers for local nonprofits and music venue staff.
