Ask Carol is a high-energy alternative indie-rock duo from Auma, Norway, whose sound merges post-punk, shoegaze, blues, and noise rock. The duo — Ask and Carol — wield two guitars, drums, synth, and a distinctive bass-guitar hybrid system, drawing comparisons to the Kills, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and the White Stripes, with a distinctly Nordic melancholic edge.
