Antonio Sanchez is a Mexican jazz drummer widely regarded as one of the most accomplished drummers of his generation. He is best known as the longtime drummer for Pat Metheny Group and for composing and performing the Grammy-winning solo drum score for the 2014 film Birdman. The Antonio Sanchez Trio appears here as part of a Berklee bill alongside Béla Fleck and Edmar Castañeda.
