Amani Burnham is a 20-year-old Ethiopian-born blues-rock guitarist, singer, and songwriter raised in Connecticut. A self-taught fingerstyle player who uses his right-hand thumb instead of a pick, his fluid, expressive tone draws comparisons to Jeff Beck and Wes Montgomery while remaining entirely his own. After a viral cover of Muddy Waters’ “Hoochie Coochie Man” attracted millions of views at age 19, Burnham signed with Blind Pig Records and released his debut album Roots & Wings in May 2026.
