A Far Cry: Goldberg Variations

A Far Cry is a self-conducted string orchestra based in Boston. For this program the group joins pianist Simone Dinnerstein for an orchestral reimagining of Bach's Goldberg Variations, an arrangement Dinnerstein co-created with A Far Cry members Alex Fortes and Sarah Darling. The version expands the solo keyboard work into new textures for piano and strings, including passages where the pianist plays inside the piano.
